Yes, depression is related fibromyalgia. Since depression can alter proper sleeping patterns which is necessary for fibromyalgia, depression has a big effect to the illness.

It is obvious on the drugs used to treat fibromyalgia. Most doctors prescribe antidepressants as part of the treatment for the illness.
